Provide the highest level of customer service to prospects, center members and guests related to facility and membership information, enrollment procedures, ongoing customer satisfaction and membership recruitment and retention. Oversee activities at the service desk during shift including opening and closing procedures, answering phones, using overhead intercom as needed, monitor employee radio activity, guest/member check in, lost and found. Individual should be a team player with the commitment to be flexible and accommodating to the hours we serve our members. Provide child care in a safe, caring, secure and effective manner with age appropriate interactions. Individual will be responsible for organizing activities and experiences for the children within the determined age range. Monitor appropriate entry and exit of adults and children. Provide both parent and children with a comfortable, safe and secure environment in a friendly setting. Demonstrate complete knowledge of emergency and safety procedures, including the use of the facility paging system and evacuation. Lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, standing and generally playing/interacting with children on their level is necessary. Maintain the facility with consistent standards of order, cleanliness and safety throughout the facility. This position will maintain locker rooms, including restrooms, showers, saunas, Jacuzzi’s, showers, and steam rooms. Keep laundry room clean and organized. Empty trash, replace liners, break down and throw out used boxes, check exterior grounds for trash and remove. Must also be able to accept deliveries properly and locate stock to designated areas when needed.
